We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across this site. This statement sets out what has been implemented, what has not, and how to tell us if something does not work for you.
What we have implemented
Accessibility was built into the components rather than retrofitted.
- Semantic HTML with a single H1 per page and correctly ordered headings
- A skip link to main content as the first focusable element
- Visible focus indicators on every interactive element, never removed
- Full keyboard operation including the mega menu, gallery, accordions and packaging tool
- Escape closes open menus and returns focus to the trigger
- Form labels associated with every control, with errors announced and linked by aria-describedby
- Descriptive alt text on product photography, varied within a gallery rather than repeated
- Color contrast meeting AA for body text and interface elements
- Tap targets of at least 44 pixels on touch devices
- Full support for prefers-reduced-motion, which disables all animation and 3D movement
- Content that remains readable and usable with JavaScript disabled
Known limitations
The 3D box preview in the packaging tool is decorative and conveys no information that is not also present in the written specification summary beside it. It is hidden from assistive technology rather than described.
Some product photography is supplied by manufacturers and its alt text describes the product rather than every visual detail of the image.
Complex specification tables scroll horizontally on narrow screens. They remain keyboard scrollable and are marked up with proper row and column headers.
Testing
Components are tested with keyboard navigation and against automated accessibility checks during the build. Testing is carried out during the build rather than certified by an outside body, so this statement describes what we check rather than an accreditation.

Which accessibility standard does this website aim to meet?
WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Accessibility was built into the site components from the start rather than added afterward, and the statement lists both what has been implemented and the limitations that remain.
Can I use the whole site with only a keyboard?
Yes. Everything works from the keyboard, including the mega menu, gallery, accordions and packaging tool. A skip link to the main content is the first focusable element, and Escape closes open menus and returns focus to the trigger.
How are form errors announced to screen reader users?
Every form control has an associated label, and errors are announced and linked to their fields with aria-describedby, so screen reader users hear what went wrong and where to fix it.
Does the site respect reduced motion settings?
Yes. If your device is set to prefer reduced motion, the site turns off all animation and 3D movement, including in the packaging tool. Focus indicators also stay visible on every interactive element and are never removed.
Can I use the site with JavaScript turned off?
Yes. Content stays readable and usable with JavaScript disabled, so you can still read product pages, specifications and guides and find the information you need without scripts running in your browser.
Why is the 3D box preview hidden from assistive technology?
The 3D preview in the packaging tool is decorative. Everything it shows is also in the written specification summary beside it, so it is hidden from assistive technology rather than described twice.
How is product photography described for visitors who cannot see it?
Product photos carry descriptive alt text that varies across a gallery rather than repeating. Some manufacturer-supplied photos have alt text that describes the product rather than every visual detail of the image.
How do specification tables behave on small screens?
Complex specification tables scroll sideways on narrow screens instead of squeezing the text. They stay keyboard scrollable and use proper row and column headers, so the data still reads correctly with assistive technology.
Has the site been certified by an outside accessibility body?
No. Components are tested with keyboard navigation and automated accessibility checks during the build. The statement describes what we check ourselves, not an accreditation from a third party, and we welcome reports of anything we missed.
