Supplement facts, ingredient lists and disclaimers take considerably more room than brands plan for, and they arrive after the design is already laid out.
On most supplement cartons the required copy, at a legible size, determines how small the pack can be. Designing the front first and fitting the panel afterwards usually forces either an uncomfortably small type size or a carton larger than the product needs.
Lay the back panel out first. We supply a dieline with the regulated area blocked so you can see what is genuinely left.
Most wellness brands sell through retail and direct at the same time, and the carton has to work in both. On a shelf it needs facing presence; in a parcel it needs to survive a carrier without a separate outer if you are shipping it bare.
Tell us the channel split. If direct is the majority, we would usually specify a slightly heavier board and recommend a protective mailer rather than shipping the carton alone.

Specification
Panel area. Supplement facts, serving size and warnings take more room than most brands allow for. Our guide to packaging board and film grades compares them on strength, print quality and cost.
Run length usually decides this. Digital wins on shorter quantities because there is no plate cost; beyond that, offset and flexo overtake it on price per unit.
Finishes are applied in the same production run. Each one adds a step, so we price them individually rather than bundling them into the base rate.
Most orders here come from pharmaceutical and supplements, cbd and wellness, retail and grocery brands.

More than most brands plan for, and at a legible size the panel often determines the minimum carton dimensions. We block the area on the dieline first so you can design into what is genuinely left.
It can, but expect a damage rate. A carton built for a shelf is not built for a carrier network. If direct is a large share of your sales, a protective mailer around it costs less than the replacements.
Yes — tear strips and frangible tuck locks are both available. Tell us what standard you are working to, since requirements vary by product type.
Yes, and it is worth doing. Reserving panel headroom at dieline stage costs nothing; adding a certification mark to a finished layout usually forces a redesign.
A label is cheaper and adequate for direct sales. A carton gives facing presence on a shelf and room for the required copy at a readable size. If you sell through retail, the carton usually earns its cost.
Yes, and a shared structure with a variable panel or sleeve keeps the range coherent while avoiding tooling each SKU separately.
A flat 100 units on any format, which suits a launch SKU before a full range commitment.
No. We reserve panel space, produce compliant structures and flag likely problems, but confirming what your product must display is yours to establish.
On offset and flexo we hold the ink formulation, which keeps a range consistent SKU to SKU. Digital has a wider tolerance, which shows most when SKUs sit side by side on a shelf.
From $0.30 per piece at large volumes. Tamper-evident features and heavier board for direct shipping are the main additions.
