5 made-to-order formats
There is no second production run behind a press send. That single fact should shape how the job is planned, quoted and ordered.
Producing thirty extra units inside a run costs a fraction of what a separate short run costs later, and a completed run cannot be reopened at the original price. Damage, a missed name on the list, a second wave — all of them are cheap now and expensive in three weeks.
It is the single piece of advice we give unprompted on promotional work, and the one most often skipped.
Promotional work is tied to a release, an event or an embargo, and those dates do not move. Asking for a lead time invites us to quote the tightest possible schedule with no slack.
Tell us the date the boxes must land and we will work backwards to the latest artwork approval that still makes it, including proofing and freight.
The range
No format matches that. Try a shorter word, or describe what you need in a quote request.
Specification
Run length. Under 500 units, digital printing removes the plate cost and shortens the schedule considerably. Our guide to packaging board and film grades compares them on strength, print quality and cost.
Run length usually decides this. Digital wins on shorter quantities because there is no plate cost; beyond that, offset and flexo overtake it on price per unit.
Finishes are applied in the same production run. Each one adds a step, so we price them individually rather than bundling them into the base rate.
Most orders here come from gifting and events, e-commerce and dtc, retail and grocery brands.

Enough for damage, late additions and a few to keep. Producing them inside the original run costs a fraction of a separate short run later, and a finished run cannot be reopened at the original price.
Production is 3 to 5 business days after artwork approval, plus freight, plus proofing. Give us the date the boxes must land and we will tell you the latest approval that still makes it.
No. A presentation box arrives scuffed without a protective outer, and on a one-wave send there is nothing to replace it with.
Yes, on digital runs — names or messages varied per unit. Send the data list early, because the variable area has to be reserved in the layout.
A flat 100 units on any format, which suits most seeding waves without forcing you into a larger commitment.
We manufacture the packaging; we do not fulfil or pack. What we can do is design the insert around your contents so packing is quick when you or your agency assemble them.
Ones that need a single pass. Each applied finish is a separate stage, and on a short timeline finishing is what costs days rather than money.
We deliver to the addresses you give us, but individual media addresses are usually better handled by a fulfilment partner. We normally ship the run to one point for packing.
Digital has a wider tolerance than offset. For a critical brand colour we can run litho with a spot ink at higher cost, or supply a proof so you can approve the achievable match first.
From $0.30 per piece at large volumes, but promotional runs are small by design and sit well above that. Finishing passes rather than board drive the figure.
