Solvents and adhesives
Solvent-based fragrances attack some adhesives over time, which can show as a seam weakening months after the pack was made. It is not a common failure but it is an avoidable one.
Tell us the base oil and we will specify a compatible glue. Along with a coated inner face to stop fragrance staining the board, that covers the two material risks specific to this category.
Liquid that has to stay upright
A reed diffuser ships full, and the insert has to keep the bottle upright through handling that will not be gentle. A closure that opens in transit means a leak, not just an untidy box.
The structure is therefore doing two jobs — holding the vessel vertical and staying closed — and both are worth a physical sample before a full run.
