Clear Stickers hold artwork intended to appear as if printed directly onto the surface beneath. That is the starting point for the specification, because a white underbase behind the artwork restores colour accuracy but also makes the sticker visible. You are choosing between them.
In service they are used for glass, packaging windows and surfaces where a visible sticker edge would spoil the effect.
A window sells the product by showing it, which is why the format exists. It also removes panel area, weakens the face it sits in, and adds a film component that affects the recyclability of the whole pack.
None of that is a reason to avoid it — it is a reason to decide the aperture size deliberately rather than making it as large as the design allows.

Clear polyester or vinyl, with a selective white underbase only where colour accuracy matters.
The options we would consider for this format are below; a white underbase behind the artwork restores colour accuracy but also makes the sticker visible. You are choosing between them.
Selective underbase is the technique — opaque where you need colour, clear where you want the surface to show.
Digital eco-solvent printing, UV inkjet, Screen printing are all available for this format. Run length usually decides which is cheapest: digital removes the plate cost on short quantities, offset and flexo overtake it at volume.
Four things drive a quote more than anything else: the quantity, the print route, the board grade and the number of finishing passes. Dimensions matter too, but usually through how efficiently the shape nests on the press sheet.
Prices start from $0.30 per piece for large-volume orders. If a cheaper route exists we say so at quoting rather than after the invoice.

Every finish listed here is its own pass through the line, so each one is priced on its own rather than folded into a single figure.
Any size, though the illusion works best when the sticker is small enough that edges are not obvious.
Send the contents rather than a box size. Artwork is approved on a white screen and then printed on clear film, where every colour becomes semi-transparent.
Provide vector artwork with the cut path on its own layer, and keep 3 mm of bleed outside the cut line.
Supply a print-ready PDF or vector file with fonts outlined and images at 300 dpi. Our prepress team checks every file before a proof is issued. On a die-cut face the check that matters most is clearance between live copy and the cut edge.
Send the product dimensions, the quantity and your deadline. What comes back is a board grade, a structure, a print method, a lead time and a written price — not a number on its own.
You approve the quote, we send the dieline, prepress proofs it, and production follows. The proof stage is where changes are still free.
Ask for an unprinted sample if the question is fit, or a printed prototype if the question is colour. They answer different things.
Sample costs are normally credited against the production order.

Colours look washed out because there is no white behind them, so the surface colour shows through the ink.

Specification, minimums and lead times for clear stickers.
Because there is no white behind the ink, so the surface colour shows through. A white underbase fixes the colour but makes the sticker edge visible. We can apply it selectively — opaque where colour matters, clear elsewhere.
As large as the panel can afford to lose. Every square inch of aperture removes stiffness from that face, so on clear stickers we usually step the board up a grade once the window passes roughly a third of the panel. We will tell you where that line falls for your dimensions.
Yes. A PET film window means the pack is no longer straight paper, and most kerbside systems want the film separated first. If a clean recyclability claim matters more than visibility, a die-cut aperture with no film is an option worth discussing.
On offset and flexo we hold the ink formulation, which gives a tight match run to run. Digital has a wider tolerance. If exact consistency across repeat runs matters more than short-run economics, we will quote the litho route.
Only with a suitable face stock and laminate. Standard paper stickers fade and lift within weeks outside. Vinyl with a UV laminate lasts considerably longer, and we will specify it if you tell us where they are going.
3 to 5 business days after artwork approval, plus freight. Sticker runs with applied finishes can take longer because each finish is a separate pass, and we confirm a firm date in writing with the quote.
Prices start from $0.30 per piece for large-volume orders. For this format the biggest levers are quantity, print route, board grade and how many finishing passes are involved. We quote each element separately so you can see where the money is going. Finishing passes are the lever buyers most often underestimate: each one is a separate run through the line.
Yes. We can send a plain unprinted sample so you can check the fit and structure, or a printed prototype for colour and finish. Sample costs are normally credited against the production order. A plain sample answers fit and structure; a printed one answers colour. On clear stickers it is usually fit that is worth checking first.
Send the current specification or a physical sample and we will quote to match it rather than proposing an alternative you would then have to re-approve internally. A physical sample tells us more than a specification sheet — board caliper and coating are usually described loosely and measured exactly.
All 50 US states, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia, on the same timeline everywhere: 3 to 5 business days of production after artwork approval, then 5 to 7 business days in transit. Every run is made to order and shipped directly to your address rather than pulled from stock, so you receive current production rather than whatever has been sitting in a warehouse. Freight is costed separately by weight, volume and destination. Roll-form work travels well and takes very little space, so freight is rarely the deciding cost on this format even at high quantities.
Every run is cut to your dimensions — there are no stock sizes here. Send the product measurements rather than a box size and we will build the sticker around them, then send a dieline template you can design onto.
We issue a dieline template sized to your product, prepress checks your artwork against it, and a proof comes back for sign-off. Nothing runs until you approve that proof, and stickers then take 3 to 5 business days.
