The crossover is not a fixed number
The point where offset overtakes digital depends on how many colours you are running, whether the artwork changes between variants, and how much finishing is involved. A single-colour job crosses over much earlier than a five-colour one, and a range with six variants may never cross over at all because each variant carries its own plate set.

I have six product variants. Which print route should I use?
Very likely digital, whatever the total quantity. Each variant needs its own plate set on offset, so six variants means six setups. Digital carries no plate cost, which usually wins outright when variants multiply.
Will you quote both print routes?
Yes. When a job sits close to the crossover we supply both without being asked. It costs us nothing and it means you choose on the actual numbers.
Do you have a facility in Missouri?
