Bespoke appliances Packaging manufactured to order, with material and finish chosen around how the product ships.
No obligation
Name, email, phone and what you are packing and how it ships. Attach artwork if you have it. We reply with a specification and a written price, usually within one business day.
The carton is stacked three or four high on a pallet and the bottom unit crushes at the corners, because the walls were rated for the appliance alone rather than for everything sitting on top of it.
Tell us the stacking height and whether it travels palletised or by parcel courier. Those two answers set the flute and the wall count; the appliance weight on its own does not.
Appliances Packaging hold a kettle, blender, toaster or similar counter-top unit, heavy enough that the carton is structural rather than presentational. That is the starting point for the specification, because tell us the stacking height and whether it travels palletised or by parcel courier. Those two answers set the flute and the wall count; the appliance weight on its own does not.
In service they are used for pallet racking, LTL freight and retail backrooms, where the carton is stacked and moved several times before a customer ever sees it.
Device packaging is an insert problem before it is a box problem. The cavity is cut to the geometry of the item, and once the contents cannot move, the outer rarely needs to be heavier than a standard grade.
Double-wall BC flute for anything above roughly 15 lb or stacked more than two high. Single-wall C is enough for a light unit shipped singly.
The options we would consider for this format are below; tell us the stacking height and whether it travels palletised or by parcel courier. Those two answers set the flute and the wall count; the appliance weight on its own does not.
Driven by the appliance plus the cushioning around it, commonly 10 to 24 in on the longest side. The cushioning allowance is usually 1.5 to 2 in per side, not the half-inch buyers assume.
Send the contents rather than a box size. Board is chosen by feel — "something thick" — when the number that decides it is the edge crush rating against the stacking height in the warehouse.
Cartons ship flat in bulk cases, which keeps freight cost low even on large runs.
Delivery windows are confirmed in writing when your order moves into production, and we flag any risk to the date before you approve rather than after.
Four things drive a quote more than anything else: the quantity, the print route, the board grade and the number of finishing passes. Dimensions matter too, but usually through how efficiently the shape nests on the press sheet.
Prices start from $0.30 per piece for large-volume orders. If a cheaper route exists we say so at quoting rather than after the invoice.
Start with dimensions and quantity. If you already run something similar, a physical sample tells us more in a minute than a specification does in a page.
You approve the quote, we send the dieline, prepress proofs it, and production follows. The proof stage is where changes are still free.
We can produce a plain unprinted sample so you can check the fit and structure of appliances packaging before committing.
Sample costs are normally credited against the production order.

Specification, minimums and lead times for appliances packaging.
Thickness is the wrong measure — edge crush rating and stacking height are what decide it. A 12 lb blender shipped singly is fine in single-wall C flute; the same blender stacked four high on a pallet needs double-wall BC. Tell us the stacking height and we will specify against it.
We can specify boards and liners appropriate for electronics handling and cut inserts to component geometry. Tell us the exact requirement your process operates under, since it varies considerably between component types.
Only if boxes are arriving crushed. If they arrive intact with damaged contents, the product is moving inside and a heavier outer changes nothing. A fitted insert solves that case, usually at lower cost.
Yes, and for appliances packaging we prefer to specify both together. A cavity that holds the contents still often lets us drop a grade on the outer, so the pair can cost less than an over-specified box alone.
Flat and glued along one seam, so they pop open on your packing line. That keeps freight cost down considerably compared with a pre-assembled structure.
Every run is cut to your dimensions — there are no stock sizes here. Send the product measurements rather than a box size and we will build the folding carton around them, then send a dieline template you can design onto.
We issue a dieline template sized to your product, prepress checks your artwork against it, and a proof comes back for sign-off. Nothing runs until you approve that proof, and folding cartons then take 3 to 5 business days.
Yes. Once a first run is approved we hold the board, structure, dimensions, print method and finishes against your account, so a reorder references the same specification exactly rather than being re-derived. It also means a reorder can be priced against a larger quantity without re-opening the specification.
Recycled grades are available across most of the substrates we run for folding cartons. Recycled content, kerbside recyclability and certified compostability are three different claims though, so tell us which one you intend to print.
A print-ready PDF or a vector file, with fonts outlined and any raster images at 300 dpi at final size. We supply the dieline to design onto, and prepress checks bleed, safe area and crease clearance before issuing a proof. The dieline we supply carries the crease positions, so keeping type clear of a crease is easier to solve at layout than at proof.
A flat 100 units on any format. Most folding cartons in this range are quoted from 100 units upward because unit cost falls sharply above that, but the minimum exists so you can validate a structure first.
3 to 5 business days after artwork approval, plus freight. Folding carton runs with applied finishes can take longer because each finish is a separate pass, and we confirm a firm date in writing with the quote.
