If assembly takes more than a minute or needs instructions, a meaningful proportion of units never get built.
Pop Up Display Boxes are engineered from corrugated or paperboard with a tear-away front or open face, so the pack doubles as the shelf unit once it reaches the store.
Pop Up Display Boxes hold product in a display that ships flat and assembles without tools. That is the starting point for the specification, because if assembly takes more than a minute or needs instructions, a meaningful proportion of units never get built.
In service they are used for promotions shipped to many stores where each one assembles the unit locally.

Shelf presence is decided at arm's length, not close up. Contrast, the front panel hierarchy and how the pack sits next to competitors matter more than a finish that only reads in the hand.
If pop up display boxes will be faced on a shelf, tell us the facing orientation so the strongest panel is the one the customer sees.
A pre-glued structure that erects in one or two movements, with no separate components to lose.
The options we would consider for this format are below; if assembly takes more than a minute or needs instructions, a meaningful proportion of units never get built.
Assembly takes longer than store staff will spend, so the unit is never put up.

Flat-packed footprint matters as much as assembled size, since freight and storage drive the format.
Send the contents rather than a box size. Assembly is timed by someone who designed it, not by a store assistant with two minutes.
Print assembly guidance on the unit itself. Separate instruction sheets get discarded with the packaging.
Each finish below is a separate pass on the press or the finishing line, which is why they are quoted individually rather than bundled.
A plain structural sample is the cheapest way to find a fit problem — far cheaper than finding it across a full run.
Sample costs are normally credited against the production order.
Send the product dimensions, the quantity and your deadline. What comes back is a board grade, a structure, a print method, a lead time and a written price — not a number on its own.
You approve the quote, we send the dieline, prepress proofs it, and production follows. The proof stage is where changes are still free.

Specification, minimums and lead times for pop up display boxes.
Under a minute, realistically. Store staff have very little time, and anything requiring instructions or separate parts means a proportion of your units never get assembled at all.
Along a designed perforation, which is the hardest part of the structure to get right. Too weak and it fails in transit; too strong and store staff tear it badly. It is decided at dieline stage, and we recommend a sample before committing.
If you are supplying a grocery chain, almost certainly. Case dimensions, pallet pattern and barcode placement are usually published and non-negotiable. Send the requirement and we will design inward from it.
That is a structural calculation rather than a hope. Send the weight of a full facing and we will grade the board and add reinforcement where the load actually sits, which is usually the base and the front lip.
A print-ready PDF or a vector file, with fonts outlined and any raster images at 300 dpi at final size. We supply the dieline to design onto, and prepress checks bleed, safe area and crease clearance before issuing a proof. The dieline we supply carries the crease positions, so keeping type clear of a crease is easier to solve at layout than at proof.
A flat 100 units on any format. Most display boxes in this range are quoted from 100 units upward because unit cost falls sharply above that, but the minimum exists so you can validate a structure first.
3 to 5 business days after artwork approval, plus freight. Display box runs with applied finishes can take longer because each finish is a separate pass, and we confirm a firm date in writing with the quote.
Prices start from $0.30 per piece for large-volume orders. For this format the biggest levers are quantity, print route, board grade and how many finishing passes are involved. We quote each element separately so you can see where the money is going. Finishing passes are the lever buyers most often underestimate: each one is a separate run through the line.
Yes. We can send a plain unprinted sample so you can check the fit and structure, or a printed prototype for colour and finish. Sample costs are normally credited against the production order. Load a sample to a full facing before approving it. A display that holds its shape empty can still bow under stock.
Send the current specification or a physical sample and we will quote to match it rather than proposing an alternative you would then have to re-approve internally. A physical sample tells us more than a specification sheet — board caliper and coating are usually described loosely and measured exactly.
All 50 US states, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia, on the same timeline everywhere: 3 to 5 business days of production after artwork approval, then 5 to 7 business days in transit. Every run is made to order and shipped directly to your address rather than pulled from stock, so you receive current production rather than whatever has been sitting in a warehouse. Freight is costed separately by weight, volume and destination. Tell us at quoting if the delivery point cannot take a pallet, and we will break the consignment into cartons instead.
Every run is cut to your dimensions — there are no stock sizes here. Send the product measurements rather than a box size and we will build the display box around them, then send a dieline template you can design onto.
